LEVEL 3 COMMUNITY SPORT & HEALTH OFFICER

Exceptional Progress

Future Apprenticeships Level 3 Community Health Officer is for members of staff whose job it is to engage people in sport and physical activity across their local community or school. By working within and across local organisation's and schools individuals will scope, organise and coordinate the delivery of opportunities for pupils and local communities to get more physically active.

Entry requirements It is desirable that candidates would have achieved a level 2 in Maths and English (equivalent to GCSE Grade C or above) prior to commencing their Apprenticeship training. For those Apprentices who are yet to achieve a level 2 in English and Maths, they will have the opportunity to complete these qualifications during their Apprenticeship. Our Learning approach Future Apprenticeships offer a blended approach to delivery which could include webinars, face-to-face, telephone and online learning to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours of the standard.


The end-point assessment Level 3 consists of the following four assessment components:

• Work-based Observation

• Case study challenge

• Presentation with question and answers

• Panel interview


Duration: 18 months Level 3 qualification: Equivalent 2 A levels
